In 2006 I was approached by the makers of the famous Scarface, Biggie, Godfather, Tupac, etc shirts out of NY. They wanted a licensing deal for them to produce official Bajito Onda Urban Legend Shirts. I granted it to them. In 2007 the makers of all the licensed headwear, Bioworld contacted me for another licensing agreement so they could develop an entire line of Bajito Onda Urban Licensed Headwear. They are the makers of Playboy, Scarface, Lowrider, Chevy, Orange County Choppers, Beatles, Rolling Stone, and on and on. These licensing deals
Made me realize Bajito Onda had somehow become discovered and needed to be rolled out into the streets. I decided it was time to leave my printing company behind and clear my head for whatever it took to make BO a major force in the urban fashion and merchandise scene.

There has NEVER BEFORE been a SPANISH NAME BRAND. I sold everything I had and moved to the incredible Sao Paulo, Brasil to just chill out for a long while and get ready for the conversion to the fashion world branding challenges necessary to put us on the map worldwide.
My experiences in Brasil were among the most amazing ever. When I returned back to Dallas in June 2008, I was ready to ‘make it happen. The new art that came in from prisoners as well as artists and points of sale around the world showed me ‘we do this thing’.

Sometimes when we do something, it can cause other things to happen or in my case ... Not to happen. I have never returned to prison as an inmate and instead have become a global activist who has created positive peaceful educational programs to empower displaced persons in society based on all the negativity I have encountered trying to reintegrate back where I left off before prison. Bajito Onda has become my walk for a purpose driven life and legacy. It is a charity that I founded due to my own need for such a ‘re-entry after prison vehicle in my life’ which was not there for me or for thousands of others needing help after a serious life drama or trauma.

Bajito Onda is the TRUE CHICANO UNDERGROUND. We never left it. God heard our prayers and has kept us strong and faithful, dedicated and loyal all these years. We will never leave the underground for mainstream - if they want Bajito Onda they have to look beyond their narrowminded thinking and see into the depths of our society inside the ‘urban melting pot’ where all our lives have fallen and melted as one culture, one people, all survivors, all ‘in-it 2 win-it’. We’re on this ride till tha wheels fall off. When you wear our rags you REPRESENT, the culture, the streets, the prisoners, our beloved immigrants, the broken, the hungry, the addicted, the homeless, the busted flat, kids, victims, veterans, the silenced voices, the hidden faces, the innocent and the forgotten. BAJITO ONDA has served in whatever way we can to reach down and pull up our fallen ones around us. We ain’t afraid to face another day of it. We got NOTHIN’ to lose. All we got we got it in our pockets.
